Wow, this was an awesome episode. It felt like old-school SW with all the random deaths and violence. :chewbacca:

Very good. Loved the middle eastern architectural influences on the Zygerrian home world.

Yeah that episode is most certainly a highlight for this season. Awesome action sequences, great visuals and a really cool plot - the suicide part was a cool if a bit creepy. It's also nice to see how Anakin respons to the topic of slavery - in this episode we could most certainly see him balancing on a thin line between acting like a jedi and letting his true feelings go.

Haven't finished watching it, but I had to chime in.

Whoa. What a great episode. Dark. Gripping. And the cinematography/camera movement is pretty fantastic, better than most episodes. I liked the nods to the ROTJ sarlaac pit scene and the hint of Luke Skywalker's theme (?) when Anakin nods to R2.

...

Having finished the episode, I would rank it very high (perhaps above the Umbara arc - but just this episode). The dialogue was tight and thoughtful. I like the focus on Anakin's past. And that execution by fall of the slaves was nightmarish.

Can't wait to see how this arc concludes.

Anyone know who directed this episode? Update: It was Brian O'Connell, who also directed the similarly pretty great Trespass and Voyage of Temptation episodes. But he's also directed a handful of other episodes.

Another great episode. Watched it with my kids & my youngest said he had seen this before - went through his old Dark Horse Comics & sure enough this story is taken straight from the first 6 episodes of The Clone Wars comics which were published in 2008. The story changes slightly but it’s the same theme - if it sticks to the same as the comics - the ending should be awesome!

Greetings,

With my current cable service in Quebec-Canada, I cannot watch The Clone Wars on TV, so I rely on this forum to be able to follow.

I was going to ask if Millennium Falcon could share 413 (Escape from Kadavo, episode 13, season 4), but a quick google-it tells me it will be aired Jan. 6, 2012!

A preview video for “Escape from Kadavo” is below. I’m not sure if the lack of new trailer means too many spoilers in the forthcoming episodes, unfinished animation, or laziness on Lucasfilm’s part.
