A pretty straightforward episode but I like all the sub-plots in this one. Shaping up to be a nice duology. Nice to see new rooms, characters and outifts. The Hutts look like a mix of a classic Italian mafia and ancient wisemen :monocle: It seems that the show is using more and more layers of visual effects - new episodes seem more flashy and busy than the beginnings.

It's not a duology.

It was a good episode, but I fail to understand how could they forget to explain how Aurra escapes from prison...

It's not a oversight, but a delay. There are events that take place between the prior episode which haven't been shown yet. Per the episode guide:

[spoil]
This episode takes place some time after "Holocron Heist," which saw the destruction of Todo 360. Todo was rebuilt off-screen by Anakin Skywalker after the episode "Children of the Force," in an attempt by the Jedi to learn more about Bane and his whereabouts. The plan goes wrong and Todo escapes. The episode immediately after this one is "Hostage Crisis."
Also, in terms of timing:
Senator Aang is a Roonan, a species developed as a background alien in the Senate in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace. That he is a member of the Military Oversight Committee, and that Padmé is trying to persuade his vote, are clues that this episode takes place before "Senate Murders."
[/spoil]

The Hutts are based on classic movie mob bosses. Here's Edward G. Robinson:

:heavymetal: Somnambulist for posting this week's thread. Friday night is a pretty fucked up time for a lot of fans who aren't home to watch it. When I come home I'm usually good and  to take in the 720p richness. A new third Hunt For Ziro preview below:

This was the best episode of Droids ever. While this episode and a good chunk of this season so far takes place before and during Season II - the program was animated recently and it shows. The Droid Spa in particular was brilliant. High points were Anthony Daniel's voice-acting and the ending appearance of the Hutt Council.

It's neat to see that it looks like they're using Vos as Vos here; you can see him use his Kiffar "object-reading" ability.

From Preview #3 - Ziro is shown holding the cup which Vos picks up in Preview #2.

During this week's Evil Plans mini-Droidwipe - one can extrapolate Vos' uses Psychometry to read the Droids in addition to the cup.

I thought Evil Plans was a real decent episode. Great to see more Threepio & Artoo-centric stories. I feel they are neglected in this show. Understandably, there's a war going on and they can't centre on these two all of the time. The Hutt crime families at the end was a really nice touch. Would love to see more of these guys in future episodes. Looking forward to seeing Quinlan Vos and interested in who they're using to voice his character!
