Where'd this leak from?

:jedi: From Star Wars Weekends at Disney or some other NerdCon. Since the series takes place between Episodes II & III - the Fett in question would have to be either a previous hologram recording of Jango or present Young Boba or another Mandalorian all together.

Also noteworthy is the appearance Episode II's Bounty Hunter "Zam Wessell" or the alien race it belongs to. It's interesting to have all these Bounty Hunter heavy episodes with the Live-Action Series in pre-production.

It has to be the same alien race since Zam is long dead at this point.

I'm hoping that's a young Boba though.

Could it be some backstory with Jango and Zam? Seems pretty redundant to come out with a new Mandalore and shapeshifter character in this fashion.

Exciting stuff! It's great to see all the bounty hunter action, between s01e22, this and the promised live-action series.

From DPs pics, could the bottom pic infact be THE changeling? It's hard to tell but it looks like the view is from the top looking downv and a very similiar. Helmet to Zams. Am liking the addition of a Mandalorian. For what it is worth the Season 1 ending voiceover said the Bounty Hunters would be back in Season 2! Imagine a full season of various bounty hunters chasing down the Jedi.

Also, the man with the headscarf looks like one of the Imperial Dignataries from ROTJ.

Awaiting the official trailer now ;)

Could this be the training of the Null Arcs? Maybe they're going to include the commando's in the series.

This show repeatedly surpassed my expectations -- and the inclusion of the Bounty Hunters nicely ups the ante. Clone Wars is easily one of the best, most entertaining shows of the past year.

Could be. However, we've already seen Aurra Sing on this show. If memory serves, she runs into Boba a lot in the EU while working for Dooku. So I wouldn't be surprised to see a young Boba show up on this show at some point.

After multiple viewings of the footage I'm not really sure who's who or what's what. :funkywhat:

The Fett-style helmet appears to have decorative wavey stripes above the forehead which could indicate another Mandalorian entirely. There is also a shot of the holocron cube which I guess is used to hold historical hologram records. In the third screenshot I don't know if that is a Pilot or one of those Commando-Droids.

If it is Boba at least there is a chance we will be able to get a BMF-Scale Slave I soon.

Based on the full shot of the "Fett" hologram, it appears that he is wearing a serape like the one in the concept art below.

The image above was taken from an article that was posted at the Official Site a few weeks ago. Coincidence?

A new enlargered version of the video is out with sound.

The top post has been updated with a downloadable version and you can watch it streamed in the second post by Cryostar.

Thanks, dp.

It’s obvious that the Mandalore is not Fett as his voice is more along the lines of Jason Wingreen and not Dee Bradley Baker / Daniel Logan / Temuera Morrison. Curious.

I like the ominous tone and the concept of Obi-wan having a “girlfriend.”

Ian McDiarmid’s voice scares me sometimes.

Looks great.

"Right.. she's not my girlfriend!"

Again - this show surpasses the PT in character interaction.

QUOTE: A ruthless bounty hunter infiltrates the Jedi Temple and attempts to steal their most guarded secret. It's up to Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano to stop the bounty hunter before he can use the secret to bring an end to the Jedi forever.

The Holocron Heist is a story found in the second season of The Clone Wars Animated series, adapted for young readers in a book published by Grosset & Dunlap, part of the Penguin Group. Look for it at bookstores this Fall.

Reaction to the footage by the powers that be was to put a story about an junior novel entitled The Holocron Heist.

George_Lucas_Honored_In_Chicago.asp

Apparently George let it slip on a Chicago event honoring him that he's working on a second animated series. (Hopefully this is true and the report is not confusing a new series with the second season of TCW) What do you guys think? Original Trilogy characters? Old Republic era? Something else?

QUOTE: Lucas also informed attendees that he is working on literally 40 screenplays for television including the development of a second animated series.

A second animated series was mentioned back in the LucasFilm Spy Report (dated March 18 2007) the rest of which turned about to be very accurate:

QUOTE: A second animated show will be aimed at 6 year olds.

For reference there is the post-Jedi Fanimation Tales Of The New Republic.

Hopefully the "40 scripts" completed has to do with the Live-Action Series as it has been stated in the past that Lucas wants a season full of scripts completed before shooting.

I thought that was the demo the current animated show was targeting.

You seen those PlaySkool Galactic Heroes toys? It could be like that or even "Jedi Kids" featuring the Bear Clan.

However, we now have video courtesy of Sandtroopers.com, which Lucas says he is working on "another animated series" not mentioning if it is Star Wars or not.

[flash width=425 height=345]http://www.youtube.com/v/prRCYKcpyWU[/flash]
Lucas also mentions they are still writing scripts for the Live-Action Series and they have no idea where it's going to be shot. :vflamethrower:

Lucasfilm: Star Wars Spectacular

5:08 Brian Leahy Friday, July 24, 2009 9:08 PM

Welcome to G4's Liveblog from the Lucasfilm: Star Wars Spectacular!

5:10 Brian Leahy Friday, July 24, 2009 9:10 PM

This unprecedented event, moderated by G4's own Kevin Pereira and Olivia Munn will be starting soon.

5:13 Brian Leahy Friday, July 24, 2009 9:13 PM

Tomorrow at 2PM ET, tune to G4 to witness this 2-hour Star Wars Spectacular event, followed by our 3-hour Comic-Con '09 Live show.

5:26 Brian Leahy Friday, July 24, 2009 9:26 PM

Stand by we're getting close to starting.

5:29 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:29 PM

Hey, all! We're getting ready for the Star Wars Spectacular! Here in Hall H, I'm passing the time until it starts by checking out all the slave Leia's walking by. Ladies, you should all dress as slave Leia, every-day. Why limit yourself to Comic-Con:? Am I right?

5:30 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:30 PM

Hopefully I'll be dropping plasma bombs of news from the Star Wars universe.

5:31 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:31 PM

Star Wars should be enough, but this panel will be hosted by G4's own cable-TV darlings Kevin Pereira and Olivia Munn! And, even awesomer, you'll be able to see this panel, along with other Star Wars greatness, tomorrow at 2PM.

5:32 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:32 PM

My poll above indicates that G4 readers prefer Slave-Leia to all other Leias by an overwhelming margin. Who could have predicted?

5:35 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:35 PM

The hall is filling up, but isn't full yet. It's like, maybe 80%. But there was a crowd outside of maybe 5 or 6 thousand folks. Like every panel here, it's going to be filled to capacity, I promise.

5:36 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:36 PM

If you havne't been to Comic-Con before, you can't even understand the madness. The rush of people. The costumes. The nerds. The stench. It's really overwhelming. There's so much going on at any given moment that it's quite impossible to see more than like 10% of the show. Just deciding what to do is the main challenge.

5:38 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:38 PM

There are costume contests, video games, comic-book artists, film panels, screenings, and more, and that's just the official stuff. Unofficially, there scads of wild parties, bands playing every night (last night's big ticket was GWAR) and madness. A zombie parade started outside my hotel room last night: Dozens (hundreds?) of undead shambling through the crowded streets of San Diego.

5:42 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:42 PM

I'm sorry for the suspense, folks. The panel is, obviously, running a tad behind schedule!

5:45 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:45 PM

Ooh. Panel starting with a clip!

5:46 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:46 PM

It's a montage of great Star Wars moments!

5:47 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:47 PM

To celebrate "Star Wars In Concert" a tour of an orchestra playing music while Star Wars clips screen.

5:48 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:48 PM

Star Wars In Concert seems pretty cool: laser show, orchestra, Star Wars... that's good night, in my book.

5:49 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:49 PM

Star Wars in Concert will also feature props from the films traveling with the show.

5:51 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:51 PM

Star Wars in Concert host Anthony Daniels takes the stage and discusses the importance of music to the Star Wars films.

5:56 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:56 PM

LucasArts rep mentions the fact that this is the first comic-con panel to ever be broadcast... tomorrow on G4.

5:56 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:56 PM

The next Star Wars Celebration will be held in....

5:57 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:57 PM

oops. there is no exact time or place, but Star Wars Celebration 5 will be held next summer.

5:58 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:58 PM

Lots of love for Olivia Munn and Kevin Pereira taking the stage. They have light sabers and are battling it out.

5:59 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:59 PM

Leia is wearing the 2009 version of the white Leia robe and it's seeeexxxxxy!

5:59 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 9:59 PM

She's got the buns and all. Kevin is dressed as "Doug Skywalker."

6:00 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:00 PM

Doug has a mullet, and Kevin says Doug is Luke's brother. Doug says he's making an iPhone app called the 'Fart-Saber."

6:01 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:01 PM

It's been 10 years since The Phantom Menace... time flies, eh, folks?

6:04 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:04 PM

Kevin and Olivia introduce fan video testimonials. It's really amazing how Star Wars has touched so many lives. This vid, where fans talk about what the movies mean to them, is evidence of the Saga's amazing cultural pull.

6:05 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:05 PM

If you stop by the Lucasfilm pavillion here at Comic-Con, you can share your own stories and be part of the Lucasfilm cultural record.

6:06 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:06 PM

Olivia and Kevin have mentioned Star Wars video games. Matt Shell, from the video game side of LucasArts takes the stage.

6:07 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:07 PM

Star Wars The Clone Wars Republic Heroes... October 6th release date.

6:08 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:08 PM

It's multiplatform, available on "all consoles"

6:10 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:10 PM

Star Wars: the Old Republic: It's a story-based MMO. There are over 1000 characters in the game. There are more voice lines in the first third of the Old Republic than in the entire run of The Sopranos.

6:12 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:12 PM

Star Wars The Force Unleashed announcement: There's a new DLC level for both 360 and PS3. It's set on Tatooine and features Boba Fett!

6:14 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:14 PM

Brand new compliation pack for The Force Unleashed: The Ultimate Sith edition. With all the DLC and an exclusive add-on: A level set on Hoth, where The Secret Apprentice will be at Darth Vader's side.

6:14 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:14 PM

It will be available on Mac or PC, for the first time ever.

6:17 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:17 PM

The trailer for The Force Unleashed askes "What if the Dark Side won?' Sith edition is going to rock! Includes a battle with Luke, and Obi Wan.

6:18 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:18 PM

That's the video game news, folks. And now we're going to hear about Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

6:19 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:19 PM

Everyone asking about Battlefront 3: No mention at this panel.

6:21 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:21 PM

Expanded episodes of the Clone Wars cartoon on the DVD. The box set comes with a booklet of concept art.

6:23 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:23 PM

The complete season 1 box of The Clone wars will be out on DVD and Blu-Ray. All 22 episodes, and 7 director's cuts, as well as a raft of extra features. The Blu-Ray version will feature "access to the temple Jedi archives" which is all kinds of concept art and other Star Wars goodies.

6:24 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:24 PM

It's out November 3.

6:25 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:25 PM

Season 2 of the Clone Wars is coming to the Cartoon Network, and will be more mature than season 1. It's "more intense."

6:26 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:26 PM

The new season will appear on Cartoon Network "Later this fall."

6:28 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:28 PM

We're checking out a bunch of Cad Bane artwork. Including earlier drafts of his character.

6:30 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:30 PM

We're checking out a bunch of concept art from the The Clone wars, actually. Including a new bounty hunter, and a new character called "Embo" I believe... and see some concept art of the young Boba Fett. Will we see him in season 2? Looks that way!

6:32 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:32 PM

In season 2 we find out more backstory about Obi Wan, including a romantic interest: Sateen. Season 2 involves a lot of backstory for familliar Star Wars characters.

6:33 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:33 PM

We see a shot of the planet Mandalore... teasing!

6:35 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:35 PM

We get a video featuring George Lucas himself... in the video, Seth Green asks Lucas what his favorite shampoo is. Lucas: "I don't use shampoo. It's plastic. Professionally molded by special effects people."

6:37 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:37 PM

Some of the voice actors from Clone Wars take the stage.

6:42 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:42 PM

Anthony Daniels is talking. The voice of C-3PO himself. We're in the prescence of greatness! Daniels says C3PO is an exageration of his actual voice. And you can hear it.

6:45 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:45 PM

Daniels says he played Legolas in Ralph Baski's 1970s version on Lord of the Rings.

6:46 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:46 PM

The voice cast is doing a live table read from an upcoming episode of The Clone Wars!

6:46 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:46 PM

This scene is a re-cap that hooks up to the end of Season one.

6:48 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:48 PM

Anakin and Obi Wan are discussing whether to/how-to go after Bane for the hostages he took.

6:50 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:50 PM

(Everyone keeps asking about Mandalore: here's a little more details. A slide of the planet was shown, but nothing was really said about it... the implication was that the new season of Clone Wars will involve that planet somehow, although no one said that or anything.)

6:51 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 10:51 PM

Judging from the table read: Anakin and Obi-wan will pursue Bane, while [s]Luke[/s] deals with other Clone War business. So next season is set up.

7:02 Stephen Johnson Friday, July 24, 2009 11:02 PM

And so ends the Star Wars Panel. Don't miss the highlights on G4, tomorrow at 2PM ET... and don't miss my live blog of Entertainment Weekly's visionaries panel, with Peter Jackson and James Cameron, startign in moments at
