Fucking sweet! :heavymetal:

Did Dooku sound just like Christopher Lee to anyone else?

As pointed out by Cryostar, Christopher Lee announced earlier this week that he is indeed reprising his voice for Dooku, presumabley for the first three-episodes as Threatrical movie.

A few thoughts: Imperial March all up in that bitch ( :yay: ), Freaky Squid-type ship with "tentacles", Magna-Droid's have their own little pimpy fighter. :chainsaw:

It seems like George finally opened his wallet for voiceovers! :bounce:

I just hope they got Ian McDiarmid - I really don't like his "soundalike".

Great trailer.

Ah, ok. Thanks for pointing out that tidbit, dp. It's great that they were able to get another actor from the movie cast to reprise his role. Adds even more authenticity.

I was kinda indifferent to this before but I'm definitely starting to get excited after seeing this trailer.

A cool bit I just noticed: you can finally see Dooku with Sith yellow eyes at 1:55.

Holy shit.

This is a moody and action packed trailer that brings back the excitement I felt upon seeing the Revenge of the Sith theatrical trailer. Christopher Lee's voice, clone troopers biting it left and right, the intensity that can be felt from Anakin and Asajj's ferocity are the highlights for me. The action, particularly the lightsaber combat, looks incredible. Fantastic stuff.

Crap wow. :o This trailer is total blow-you-away stuff, woah. Amazing pictures, they are really gripping and have that spot-on SW feel. The animation and style looks better to my eyes with every bit of new footage we get, it's far more gritty than I expected first.

Totally kick-ass! :chewbacca:

Wasn't it reported that Christopher Lee came back to reprise his role for Dooku along with Sam Jackson and Anthony Daniels?

So far, returning actors for The Clone Wars 2008:

• Samuel L Jackson as Mace Windu for the Theatrical Movie (First 3 Episodes)
• Christopher Lee as Count Dooku for the Theatrical Movie (First 3 Episodes)
• Anthony Daniels as C3PO for the Entire Series.

We could say the Grey DeLisle is returning, since she's only ever been the voice of Assaj.

I hope the actual movie has the same tone. I'm not sure how well this will do in theaters though.

If its got a good story, it could be a huge sleeper hit this summer. Surprisingly, kids are actually a good judge of story when its comes to films aimed at them - the well-written Disney/Pixar flicks these days are making a killing.

If it's just 3 episodes slapped together and only interesting to the diehard fans of Star Wars, then it's not going to make a lot.

The action looks solid so far - I don't have a sense of how coherent and tight the story will be.

Bit late with my response (currently sunning myself and therefore have only just got to see this latest trailer) but while I agree the tone is much more appealing than before, I'm still concerned that everything looks like it's either made of wood or breeze blocks (apart from the ships which look top notch). I know this is aimed at a much younger audience (i.e. not a deluded man of 37) but I've heard some kids comment on the MDF generated characters. This is Star Wars after all, not blinking Toy Story. Anyone else share this view or should I just crawl back under my bantha?

LucasArts' Clone Wars video game trailer has a few snippets of new footage interspersed with the Ninendo Wii gameplay.

The game seems a bit wonky, but the trailer is worth watching for the Grievous comedy bit at the end.

Thx for the link Topeka.

Mr. J, I beg to differ about Toy Story. That's exactly what this is, a Toy Story. This is the perfect mediu to create dozens of new action figures that collectors will hoard until the end of time!
