fucking great remake! Jason was brutal, the breasts were perfect, the kills were nice. Everything you could want in a re-boot for the franchise. I'd much rather see one of these than a fucking Saw every halloween. And never, NEVER steal Jason's

Is it a remake of the first movie from 1980 or does it cover several of the first movies? I've heard so much about this but can't seem to get if it really is a remake, reimagining, reboot or a new movie.

it's a combo of the first 3 movies, updated into current day. The only part of the 1980 film with the mother used is the opening credits. And it is reimagined to include Jason as a kid, watching his mother get decapitated which is kinda weird because he was suppose to be dead from drowning but he watches it all from a tree. He picks up the machette and it goes to current day.

From there, it's a twenty minute movie within a movie of Jason killing a group of campers looking for weed. He doesn't have his mask yet, he wears a sack over his head which is from part 2. Then we get the title screen and off to a new set of kids a few months later including the brother of one of the girls from the first group. He's looking for his lost sister, they wind up in Camp Crystal Lake, Jason gets his hockey mask and we're off to some more killing, some new twists with Jason, and a nice ending setting up a sequel.

If you liked any slasher films from the 80's, this is a great one.

I love slasher films, they were at their best during the 1980s for sure. I have always regarded the F13 films really cool and for the most part great fun to watch. Although, i have to say that was a bit skeptical when Marcus Nispel first was mentioned as the director for this one, i didn't like what he did with Chainsaw Massacre a couple of years ago.

But i'll check out the new F13, hopefully during this weekend.

XVID by STG torrent link is the cam I have and it's really good. There are 3 nude scenes, including 2 sex scenes and one topless waveboarding scene with a fantastic pier kill. In the 80's version, you would just get a flash of titty and that'd be it. Now, you get a girl teasing her bra off, then rubbing them, then pouring water over them, then going off to fuck in a tent! as Borat would say, "Very Nice!"

I believe this is considered a direct sequel to the first movie, and forgets all the stupid bullshit like Jason goes to hell with the demon worm thing or space Jason.

titties and weed? i'll be stopping by mininova after work tonight. I saw the original at the drive when released. i'd only heard the week before about smoking pot and didn’t know much about it. We'd been at the show for about 10 mins when a car w/ 3 dudes pulled up beside us and after a while these guys starting passing a small bong. They left after a while but we stayed through to the end. We were in a cargo van my dad was "customizing" and it had temporary seating in the back, basically out door lawn chairs. When Jason burst through the window at the end of the movie, my friend jumped back and he and the chair went over backwards. It’s a 'had to be there moment' but, something we still laugh about all these years later.
