Bourne Identity came out five years ago and was a complex, engaging psycho-thriller. Then Supremacy was a gritty, but not as interesting follow-up by Paul 'Shaky-Cam' Greengrass.
I just saw the third film and have to say that Greengrass crafted a succesful conclusion to this trilogy. It was suspensful, gave insight into the Bourne character, and tied up the plot in a fairly tight way. The action scenes were top notch, intense and (mostly) realistic.
My biggest gripe would be that it's sometimes difficult to follow what's happening on screen, made worse by the camera's inability to stay still. Action scenes I can understand, but when a bunch of suits are sitting around a conference table and we're treated to an epileptic camera, it gets a bit absurd.
That aside, it was a very good movie. Anyone else see it?
