Just dicking around on IMDB and came across a movie that would interest most of us. It could end up being amusing, but could end up being ridiculously bad. Basically about sheep that go to Skywalker Ranch to watch TPM before it's released (that's all I bothered reading on IMDB).

sheep on IMDB

Cast list looks like it has a couple of interesting cameos. And a couple of interesting characters - Harry Knowles, amongst others. Although I'd be interested to see if some mention is made of those that were leaking info beforehand.

I heard about this a while back. Sounds to be worth a watch, but I'm not expecting much. I'm guessing it's the kind of 'poke fun at the stereotypical fan' humor that usually makes me want to punch the 'stereotypical trendy pseudo-creative filmschool prick' who made it in thier pimply face. But then again it might be worth a giggle or two. I hope it leaks all over the internet, though, and doesn't make a cent at the theatre if it does indeed portray fans as the idiots I'm guessing it will.

They showed about 45 minutes of this movie at C4. From what I saw this is going to be a kick-ass movie. It's not so much a "let's make fun of fan boys" movie as it is a "star wars geeks are the cool geeks" type of movie. The scenes they showed with Fisher and Shatner were hilarious, and they did a good job of making Trekies look bad. Can't wait til it comes out.

I saw the trailer on the Clerks II DVD. It looks funny.

Okay, hadn't seen the trailer until now. This does look pretty funny. The Star Wars vs. Star Trek bits looked pretty 'LoL' as well. I think I'm just PMS-ing lately. IMDB has the release date as 1-18-08, I wonder how well it'll do against the big mystery monster movie coming out that same day.

Going by the trailer, it looks like a movie to download more than watch in cinema. And don't watch around non-fanboys. Nor when sober.
