Here are three new TV spots (quicktime format). All of them kinda circle around the main trailer, but there are a couple of new shots in there.

Ugh 7 weeks left, I for one can't wait! I definitely will be catching this in theaters since I saw the first two in theaters. I loved the first two and no doubt I'll like this one.

Only 36 days left until the movie comes out gents. I for one can NOT wait for this film.

Yesterday I watched the thearatical trailer fully for the first time and I got goosbumps watching it. I think this will turn out to be the best X-Men movie.

I also think Kelsey Grammer is gonna pull of Beast pretty damn well.

Check out this clip from the movie that shows a familiar robotic face from the comics.

That was pretty cool. I wonder if that scene was from the final battle, or if it was one of their simulations that they generally had.

Interesting.

This movie has a very different feel than the first two. I'm not sure yet if I like it.

Well you can't just judge a film by a couple trailers and video clips.

I'm not saying it's bad, but it does have a different look than the first two films.

I'm not making judgement on this until I see the full movie. People want to hate everything about it just from pictures or 45 second clips. I'll wait and see the full movie and then decide if it was a fitting end to the trilogy. At least we got the Danger Room and a Sentinel head this time.

I didn't say I hated it.

It's just obvious that the look and feel is different from the first two.

I'll see the movie and probably like it and eventually buy it on DVD, just because I'm a fan.

How so? It looks and feels like a continuation of the same story arc to me, with the events of the previous two films coming to thier conclusion in this, the alleged final installment.

I'm not intentionaly jumping on you, it's just that this is the 3rd time you have said that in this thread and I'm confused as to what you think is so different about this one. Other than the addition of some new characters and a bigger more dramatic story, I'm not feeling the great divide between this film and the other two.

Not yet, anyway. Maybe the difference is obvious to everyone and I just won't get it until after I see it.

The third one will probably be the darkest one they've made.

I don't see how it has a different feel to it juding from a 30 second clip.

when I said earlier that I wouldn't judge the movie based on that clip, I wasn't talking to anyone here on this board. Actually, it seems like everyone over at Aintitcool absolutely hated that clip and are now saying the film is complete shit. That is what I meant by that.

The only thing really that bothered me was when Colossus "armored" up. It looked bad. That doesn't bother me though.

They do have 3 new TV clips that I would link to but they are horrible filmed from TV spots that are really blurry. The cool part was Pyro and Bobby fighting fire and ice. That will be awesome.

EDIT: Okay, I'll link to them. Here,Here, and Here

Because Ratner is directing I'm a little more cautious about this (that said, I would be for any director other than Singer) but considering it features something I've wanted to see on screen since the first announcement of X-Men movies in the Phoenix storyline, I'm bound to like it from the spoilers released so far.

It has nothing to do with the story or characters at all.

But judging by the trailers and clip, it looks and feels different to me because it doesn't look like an X-Men movie. This, of course, is based off of at most 6 minutes of footage and I didn't mean to cause such problems when I said it looks like the film went in a different direction in terms of the tone and look.

No problem, I was just wondering if there was something maybe I'm not seeing. I dunno', maybe I'm not looking closely enough. Guess we'll all know once it comes out.

I just hope they put Jackman on some steroids before they start shooting the Wolverine prequel.

Moviefone has a 1 minute clip of X3 now. It features Wolverine coming for Phoenix in the woods but he gets his ass kicked by some guy who has power (magnetic) over metal.

Find it here

That was a pretty cool clip thanks. Hopefully they'll put more up as time grows closer to the film. Damn Wolverine seriously got his ass kicked, must have hurt like hell being flung like a rag doll like that. I wonder if the music was from the original score by John Powell.

I definitely can't wait to see this film the weekend after it comes out. Not going opening weekend because it'll be too fucking crowded.

I saw this last night on TV. I definitely can't wait to see the film in theaters. Also judging from the short moment that they showed of Kelsey Grammer as Beast I believe he will pull the part off pretty damn well.

Even though I don't like Halie Barry but as far as her playing the character Storm, I perfered the character with the longer hair. The short hair makes her look like a lesbo.

That 7 minute clip made me pretty positive that X3 isn't going to suck. I had my doubts, but the whole Angel diving out the window and Magneto hijacking the mutant rally bit got me geeked for this one.

Indeed. I don't think X-Men 3 will suck either. I'm ignoring all those rumors how the script had "troubles" during the last of it some stupid shit like that.

With the internet today and movies it's like to much information gets leaked out. Then if a bad rumor gets started someone gets to worried about that rumor for the film wondering if it'll come true or not. Then they'll be going to see that film with those fears and sometimes those fears come true and they will be "let down by the film". If that makes any sense.

just watched X2 again today and it confirmed for me as being the best comic book to film adaption - just edging Spidey 2. X3 looks top rate as does Superman Returns.

Nah for all the comics as film, Sin city is my number one then followed by Daredevil, these are some of the only flicks that actually well reflected the stories as put down on paper.

X2 was just eye candy with a very good story adaptation.

we do have to keep in mind it's not easy to take a 20 years storyline and put it into 3 movies.

but if they do end this one @ 3 movies.. that will be too bad.

I've read on IGN that if you wait after the ending credits there's a small but important 30 second scene. They advise the viewers not to missed it but they won't say what's its about. If anyone goes to the premier or has already seen it, please let us know what it is.

Jackman said something similar in a print interview over here. From the context I think it's some preview/spoiler/hype scenes/info for future spin-off movies.

Well the reviews are flying in. Ain't it Cool News seems pretty split. Harry thought it was a bad movie, so did Quint, Vern loved it as did Moriarty. Rotten Tomatoes is now sitting at 63% with 10 positive reviews and 6 negative. Looks like this one will be 50-50 in terms of love and hate. I'm seeing it opening day regardless.

Saw this last night at a preview screening, it's seriously pretty cool.

It doesn't seem short either, it actually seems quite long in parts. I havn't read any of the comics, just watched the movie and I thought (if it is the final one, which it prolly won't be) it's a fitting end for all 3 movies. It (sadly) ties up the Magneto/Xavier arc, and a few other ones...still some pretty thankless deaths in the film.

All in all, it's the ROTJ of the 3 films, the second being easily the best.

It's definatly worth seeing once, although - I'm glad I didn't pay for it!!

I heard there's something after the end credits, but I couldn't stay to watch it as it was getting late - but if someone could let me know what it was to save me spending another $15 that'd be great!

Well, not a great movie, but still fairly okay. You can tell the differences between X3 and the other two. The performances are more exaggerated, rather than the subtle little details that Singer can draw out in actors. The one-liners are still there but also suffer from the same thing in that they are a bit forced rather than just flowing. But I did like the fact that there were very few qualms about killing characters. Made it work better.

The Danger Room sequence was a good little scene in itself, although short (understandably). We get a little glimpse of a Sentinel, get to see Rogue using her power in a way that makes sense, and of course the 'Fastball Special'. And in spite of a little shoddy wire-work, the amped-up Storm is a pleasure to see as she is shown to be more like the comics' goddess than just a token character.

The way it ended though did leave me feeling a little empty. [spoil]Seeing Magneto getting back a little bit of his power and obviously tying into a future Magneto movie meant that his "curing" didn't have as much impact. It also brings up questions regarding the other mutants that received the cure. If you have a mutant that received 4 doses of the "cure" recovering, then others should also show signs of reversion. Magneto might be one of the more powerful mutants, but it means that both Rogue and Mystique should start showing mutant traits again over time (Rogue at least since they've shown she has definite power).[/spoil]

As for the final scene after the credits: [spoil]Remember the class Xavier was teaching about ethics and the short video about a guy with no conciousness? When watching the scene I thought it ended too early on the ethics of transferring a mind into it, but its relevance is revealled after all of the credits. We see Moira checking the monitors around the man, then hear Xavier's voice talk to Moira. The scene fades out with a shot of shock on Moira's face. So really, both Xavier and Magneto are not out of the fight for good, just on the sidelines for a while.[/spoil]

Edit: Clarified.

Well, I went last night to see it. It was pretty good. Lots of action, lots of characters. I had hope for more Angel scenes but well... I also missed Nightcrawler. Since this is probably the last X-Team movie (without counting the rumored Magneto & Wolvie spin-offs) I really hoped to see Gambit. Maybe I'll get a cameo in the spin-offs.

I liked that Storm starts to show the leader that she is in the comics/cartoons. Wolvie always kick-ass and Jean/Phoenix well, I was hoping to see her engulfed in the flaming bird while using her powers but instead I got the zombie version. It was ok nontheless.

X-Men movies in order of how much I liked them:

1. X2: X-Men United
2. X-Men: The Last Stand
3. X-Men

So, yes, I did like X:TLS alot. There are parts of it that I might love more than anything else in these movies. But the movie as a whole cannot compare with X2. It can't even come close. A lot of people want to blame Ratner. I blame Tom Rothman and Fox. But really, all of the problems this movie has is because of the short shooting schedule and they don't make the film unbelievably bad. Like I said, I like it more than X-Men, a movie that I thought was great at setting things up, but seemed like it didn't belong as an entire movie by itself. The movie seems like it could have been made as the first half of a movie. Maybe that is what I think of this. Only being an hour and 45 minutes long, I think the movie doesn't stand as well as a full movie. I felt like there were scenes missing (either because of budget or editing) or just cut short to appease the running time. As you will hear in countless other reviews, there are almost too many mutants to give enough screen time to all of them.

Oh and if you like your Dark Phoenix with the Hellfire Club and world destroying and alien races and deaths on the moon, you are in for a rude awakening. This is NOT that Dark Phoenix. Totally different take on the character. Although I like the comics story of this saga, it didn't bother me that the movie was different.

All in all, a good movie, but not up there with X2. Maybe these 3 movies should have been condensed into 2 movies (albeit, both would need to be 2 hours and 30 minutes long). Anyway, I'll go see it one more time in theaters and then wait for the *hopefully* extended edition DVD at some point.

Well, I certainly didn't love it.

The first two scenes in the film were completely unnecessary to me, or they could have been said in a differently. Storm annoyed me and I was unfortunately right about the story being Storm and Logan running around and yelling.

The film did have a different feel than the first two--which were brilliant. I really tried to ignore all the Fox/Ratner bashing early on, but it just seems like they were both in it for the money.

I don't get the hate - although I don't have the baggage of having read the comics so this movie worked really well for me.

The mutants use a shitload more powers and really fuck some shit up. Storm zapping (psylocke..??) was heavyduty. In fact Storm took control early on and her character moved from sidekick to leader.

I had heard ad-fucking-nauseum about the last couple of scenes and to me they didn't bother me at all. In fact I would of been pissed had Magneto and Xavier gone out all pussy like they did, especially Eric....I mean a dart to body and that's it you're human...?? blow me...I thought the movie also lacked a lot of cleavage considering the talent they had at their disposal.

Is it confirmed there are no more X-Men movies (apart from spin-offs?) because I got the feeling there will be (although a shitload of shit got fucked up in X3).

Anyway, overall I really enjoyed it can't wait for the DVD.

I didn't like, but I didn't hate it. I think it lost everything I loved about the first two - getting to know characters and taking its time to tell a story.
