Reloaded and Revolution suffered really badly for all the other classical myths and legends the Wachowski's tried to jam in there and update. They just ended up a fucking overlapping mess because they couldn't just pick a single line to follow, they slammed all this other metaphysical, philosophical bullshit into it that it didn't need and made it too deep for the average audience member. Plot threads were dangling all over the place and heaps of characters had their stories started but not finished which is just poor film making.

Basically, they took a great concept and over-intellectualised it.
No way in hell will be forking out a cent for that boxed set.
I'll snag ex-rental copies of each one from Blockbuster and be happy with that.

hmm I'm probably in the minority but I feel the Matrix Trilogy was let down somewhat by Reloaded. I thought Revolutions did an OK job as a final act.
It was so obvious though the Wacho Bros totally lost the plot somewhere after the first movie and things spiralled outta control.
I won't be handing over any hard-earned for this boxset.

I like all three. Revolutions has some problems but they're not big enough to get in the way of my enjoyment. Same with TPM. I guess I'm just weird like that.

I'll for sure buy this. I really like Reloaded. I was disappointed with Revolutions though. I remember after Reloaded everyone was trying to decipher what the Architect was telling Neo but it Revolutions they didn't quite expand on that. I was expecting some crazy ending. The other part was why Neo had powers outside of the Matrix. Maybe this was explained or hinted at and I just missed it. I haven't seen them since they were released in the theater so maybe I'm just forgetting something.

Also they did not show enough of Monica Bellucis tatties.

I really like the first two, bu the third was a disappointment. Most people I know love the original, but I really liked the way the W Bros fucked with people's heads in Reloaded by having the whole thing be yet another system of control. The machines basically took the flaw in the Matrix and bent it to their advantage. The various action scenes were also amazing, although the Burly Brawl used too much CGI for me.

Revolutions was an interesting and logical way to end the series, but I felt that its biggest failing was devoting too much time to characters we cared little for. If more time had been spent with Neo et al then I think it would have been a better film. The death of Gloria Foster was also a huge blow to the production. That said, it all made sense to me, even if it wasn't as satisfying a conclusion as I might have hoped for. Then again, perhaps that's a failing on my part.
