I'm fairly certain that the Tron Sequel's sequel is scheduled for next year, as well.

Here's hoping that someone can resurrect the Bond Series so that Bond 23 can be added to the list!

there's no way Bond would be out next year at this point. and there is NO other Tron movie going on other than TRON Legacy due out this Dec.

I read somewhere the Bond series was effed at this point because of MGM being broke. Still, looking forward to a lot of the movies on the OP list. The Marvel movies have me nervous, yet excited. Like that first time you nail an older woman. Pirates4 might be a'ight if I can follow the plot without a scorecard again, and I'm hoping for fucked up maniacal shit from the Thing remake and Cowboys vs Aliens. Potter finale will be good too. Although, I keep forgetting I watched the last one, as it seems to have been about something less than memorable.

So I hope it's better than this year. It's a sorry movie season when my wife dragging me into a Twilight movie isn't the worst time I've spent lately in the theatre.

I heard that due to MGM's issues, Bond is dead for the time being, and shouldn't expect to see any movement until MGM is fixed.

As to Tron, this is a variation of the article that i saw previously, claiming that the script for Tron Legacy 2 is already being worked on, with a Trilogy, TV Series and Game as part of the plan.

that's a very packed July going on there. Some film is gonna get plastered. there's only room at the top for 1. which means transformers 3 will likely only be 1st for the first weekend released. Potter will destroy it and probably Captain America as well in the following weekend. They should really move Captain America into August to give it some room to run.

Also, we WILL be seeing Bond next year. Daniel Craig is the "cowboy" in Cowboy's and Aliens. And Harrison Ford is in it as well!

Also the J.J. Abrams/Spielberg collaboration Super 8 next year sometime.

Shit what about 2012? Of course with it being farther out things could fall through but right now Spider-man: Rebooted, Avengers, Star Trek 2, Batman 3, Superman (tentative), Monsters, Inc 2.

Just did a bit more research...

JAN: Green Hornet
APR: RIO, 3 Musketeers (Paul Anderson version)
MAY: Spidey 4
JUNE: Cars2, Rise of the Apes
SEPT: Underworld 4
OCT: Saw 8
NOV: Puss in Boots
DEC: Sherlock Holmes 2

Scheduled for 2011, but no month:
BioShock, Bourne 4, Bad Boys 3, Conan, Live Action Cowboy Bebop, Crank 3, Dark Shadows, Death Race 2, District 10, Fangland, Fathom (Megan Fox), Ghost Rider 2, GIJoe 2, Ghostbusters 3, Hitman II, Kick-Ass II, Rec3, Night at the Museum 3, Silent Hill 2

Mind you, with no moth attached, most of these will likely slip to 2012.

And I see not one original idea in that list. :(

Bring on Super 8, I guess.

:o Wow, yeah. Didn't notice that. What a profoundly strange thing when you think of it. Almost everything slated to come out, with a few exceptions, seems to be a sequel or adaptation or reboot of something we've already seen somewhere. Is that on purpose? Do the studio suits really have no faith in the talent to do something as of yet new and unproven? And judging by what we've seen from Hollywood over the last few years, is that maybe actually logical on thier parts? Investor confidence dictating the state of the art. No wonder movies suck lately. End rant, yet my confusion still lingers.

Fangland seems ok. it's Vampires and John Carpenter, so it can't be too bad.

also, Spidey 4 isn't being released next May. with the reboot, it is now July 3, 2012. and Saw 8 (Saw 3D) is being released THIS year.
