Best and Worst DVDs/Blu-Rays for your money?

I was looking through my collection. It's pretty modest since I'm fairly picky when it comes to buying movies.

Unfortunately I own the Star Wars OT unaltered DVDs. I have no idea how/why they're THX mastered or how LFL could release these embarrassing DVDs, but they're easily the worst produced DVDs I own in terms of overall quality. Anamorphic has been the standard since at least the early 2000's. The first two Jurassic Parks need to be re-released. Those need additional features and especially improved picture. It's interesting to see the evolution of DVD picture quality (and I'm sure you Blu-Ray owners will just scoff). Many older DVDs don't hold up in the least. Beetlejuice looks horrific. Wow. On the other side, I don't see how the Toy Story movies could possibly look any better in HD than their last DVD release.

Perhaps the two most solid DVDs packages I own that I've fully viewed are the Batman and Batman Returns 2-disc Special Editions. They looks and sound phenomenal and the features are wonderful. The first Batman features a documentary on the character that's unrelated to the movie itself and narrated by Mark Hamill. Awesome. Burton's commentaries are hilarious, entertaining and insightful. The "Shadows of the Bat" docs made me even consider getting the other two SE DVDs just to see the rest. The only drawbacks are lack of deleted scenes and definitely no recent interviews with Michael Keaton.
