This is a movie based on the book by Max Brooks (Mel Brooks son) chronicling the aftermath of a theoretical zombie apocalypse, specifically the titular "Zombie World War", as a series of after-the-fact oral history interviews with prominent survivors. (thank you Wikipedia).

The book is absolutely riveting. But when I first heard about this movie I had doubts. The book doesn't really lend itself to being a film adaptation. But now that I've read AINTITCOOL's Moriarity Script review I'm feeling very excited about the possibilities. I hope they can handle this right. Also, for those who haven't read it, give it a try.....

Cool news... I'm actually reading Max Brooks' other book right now: "The Zombie Survival Guide." Hilarious stuff... I highly recommend it to any zombie-movie aficionados out there. It would be neat if World War Z incorporated some of the survival tips from this other book.
