So who do you think will win the format war? Personally I'm voting for Blu-Ray. I'm seeing more and more movies come out for Blu-Ray lately especially new releases. It seems most of the big companies have switched to Blu-Ray.

Although the initial move toward high-def came across as a gimmick to get us to re-buy our movie collections, I have experienced both formats and am solidly in the HD camp. As to which will catch on? That's still probably up for grabs in the battle between Microsoft and Sony. I have a Blu-Ray drive and favor BD-ROM over HD-DVD not because of the title selection, but because it's technically a superior format. But Betamax and Laserdisc were superior to VHS in most instances and those came across real well.

HD-DVD. Sony's blu-ray players are overpriced. The cheapest will win and that's HD-DVD.

Didn't the porn industry already choose HD format?

I know Sony's calling it a Tie so far, but with 360's outselling PS3's, and with the cheapness of HD vs BD....I don't think it's much of a competition any more.
