The first trailer for Oliver Stone's 9/11 film, World Trade Center, was released recently:

It's a very beautiful looking film. Nice wide shots and a good variety of visuals. As opposed to the trailer for the other 9/11 film, United 93, which felt too crack-handedly shot, too rapidly cut and generally too claustrophobically designed to leave any major impression, especially since it's a film which covers such a significant event. Anyway, the film seems to feature Cage, the latino dude from Crash and a group of police/firemen most prominently as they gradually learn about the attack and arrive to assist other civilians on that fateful day. It's apparently based on a true story.
Basically, it all looks good except for some unusually sentimental dialogue that's delivered by Cage at the end, as he and his friend are buried under rubble.
Ohhh, opinions... What do you think?
