That's crazy resolution.

I'm also going to go all fanboi and ask if I'm the only one that sees a half-face in the smoke at the top-left (around 1/4 in from the left edge) of the building.

UPDATED MESSAGE:

Quote:
Gather with 300 of your closest friends at this exact spot on April 28th.

You'll need to be in contact with a partner-in-crime who has online access to relay your instructions once you're there. These instructions will give you the TRAIL to follow, but be sure to look both ways when crossing the street; we wouldn't want you to make an unscheduled visit to the ER now, would we?

Put on a smile and plan to spend about an hour or so bonding with your fellow clowns.

Check back here often for updates or changes.

The idea believed that they are going to be lead to a local movie theater to watch the new trailer on monday, and it will be released online at the same time!

The clowns on the ground are getting to watch the trailer after completing their tasks! 'Nightcrow' writes from London:

I just got back from the trailer it was quite crazy they handed us Joker cards and a raffle ticket.

They then handed a tin to some guy in the crowd and told us all to walk to the Odeon cinema.

We all sat down in anticipation and they showed us the trailer and AWESOME AWESOME trailer!!!

At then end of the trailer, they called out a raffle ticket number and some lucky guy got the reel of the actual trailer lets see if it comes up online.

All those posters are NOTE-PERFECT and run nicely along with the whole Teaser Campaign all except that Motorbike one. Which looks HELL out of place.

I agree with Biggs, the Batbike poster, while cool, looks out of place, like it belongs on the cover of a Gotham racing magazine.

On the other hand, something about the billboard poster above that is very cool and feels right.

I dunno, maybe because he looks like Vader or something. :?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to Ironman but having this trailer play infront of that film is like having The Beatles open for Miley Cyrus.

New Trailer to be released on Sunday here: www.whysoserious.com/happytrails/

that's not the trailer from Burton's Batman. it's fan made. this is:
[flash width=425 height=350]http://www.youtube.com/v/9AdEHOta-Uc[/flash]

they also didn't have green bans in front of the trailers back then.

Holy shit, the Jokerized version of the trailer is fucking HILARIOUS! :shaman:

[flash width=425 height=355]http://www.youtube.com/v/H3OqlNyE18I[/flash]

(I don't know how to embed)

There's tons of shit to see and read, but in particular watch for what looks like the Joker and his blue lightsaber as he walks down the street(hard to see though). Also shit like when Wayne drives the Lambo at the end the screen says "Target Practice" lol! Batman dropping poop over the city, "the dork knight".. funny stuff.

Update: Apparently there are slightly different versions of the Jokerized, this one has him with a red lightsaber:

Interesting choice for the Dent photo - that's the one little snap of Two-Face in the movie.

Anyway, I hope there aren't any more good trailers coming out soon because, between this and Indy yesterday, I just blew my load twice and my girlfriend might start to get jealous.

Nice grabs TDK. I never noticed the Scarecrow or Two-Face shots on the big screen, you can even see a bit of Harvey's tattered suit on his left shoulder in the trailer.

EDIT: LA Times just posted an interview with Eckhart wherein he talks about TDK and Harvey in general. Here's a link but be warned, a MAJOR spoiler is mentioned and more details than I wanted to know are given about his character's role in the film:

Interview with Aaron Eckhart

Eckhart wrote:
"Really, all of it is more than an adventure tale, it's somewhat of a mirror of our times. It deals with some fundamental questions of what's going on in society. To me, this film is about how Batman feels about justice, how he takes care of the city, how he feels about the Joker when he meets him and sees what he is capable of doing. How he feels when Harvey Two-Face takes matters into his own hands. It's not simple, and it gets ugly. I think people will be surprised."

Sounds great. :heavymetal:

As expected, Eckhart seems perfectly cast as Dent. I can't wait to see what he does with his few scenes as Bad Harvey.

I find Joker's scarring pretty interesting. I noticed that even the right side of his bottom lip looks a little mangled. I really don't buy the idea that those scars are from being cut with a blade.

By the way, does anyone know if the part with Scarecrow and the Batman wannabes is going to be the only time we see him?

I'm going to be real disappointed if the Joker and the Scarecrow don't meet up at some point in the film.

Image

From the spoilers, I would have assumed Joker burned the money himself, but he looks seriously fucking pissed.

found some major spoilers for you peeps, here: http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=301886

ya been warned!
[spoil]
[align=left]* joker escapes the police Precinct which he blows up and leaves Harvey dent for dead. The joker is the one who scars Harvey. The joker wanted to get himself arrested in order to distract everyone and to blow up the Precinct because he wants to kill Harvey Dent and he knew Harvey was going to interrogate him.

* Joker kills Rachel in the party that he crashes, where Harvey Dent announces his engagement to Rachel Dawes, same day he becomes engaged she dies
[/align]
[/spoil]

I'm not reading anymore. that's enough for me! I'm out till the movie opens.

Gentlemen,

'Two Face' Harvey:

Image

Please note that this is considered concept art. I would expect the scarring to be a little less even on the face (which was in evidence on the blurry action figure photos) in the film itself but close (to the comic) nonetheless.

This contradicts Eric Roberts's statement in the December 2007 FHM UK.

Like DDD said, the final look will probably be a little nearer to the action figure.

That being said, the concept art is is especially close to Two-Face's look in The Long Halloween.

I think this is the look for the film. WB is asking for it to be removed from the usual sites. I wouldn't go by the look of the toy. Nolan will try to push PG-13 as far as he can - for better or worse.

It's not even anatomically correct. What the hell is with the cheek muscle?

I don't even see how he could talk.

The toy seemed a lot more in line with what Nolan's been doing with the baddies. I just can't imagine Nolan having a Two-Face with perfectly symmetrical burns, for instance.

I just realized that this shot is most likely from during the beatdown. He's sitting there on the floor, after being pummeled, and giving Batman an "I'm bored" look.

Wow, you don't know how much I agree with you, I mean, that's (so far) in my opinion the ONLY thing that is not working for me in this film (yet): The suit.

I love what they did with the Joker, what they did with Two Face, Gordon, Lucius, Alfred, hell even the Batmobile and BatPod, but that suit, it's like, I don't know. Hopefully after this flick is released, I'll accept it and move on.

It's the line in the trailer, "I know now what I must become..." that sells me not only on the new suit but also the new gear in the flick. It's like they're taking the idea of this man who becomes a suited protector in order to save his city to its next step where he then becomes a war machine (to borrow a name from another comic) that will stop at nothing to cleanse his city of crime. Atleast that's where I think Nolan's taking it. That doesn't mean that I'm going to be disappointed if the film doesn't pan out in that manner.
