Gambit Rumor Again.

Heard on two different Radio Morning shows here in Chicago this morning, of the XMen4 / Gambit rumor, resurfacing. According to TVHits, as well as SuperHeroHype

Back in 2005, it was revealed that "Lost" star Josh Holloway had to take himself out of consideration for the role of Gambit in X-Men: The Last Stand. Now, ShowbizSpy is claiming that Holloway has again commented on the role:

He told TV Hits magazine: "We had a meeting and they wanted me to play Gambit, the card dealer character, they thought I'd be perfect for the part. We'll see."

We haven't found anything about this on TV Hits site, so it could just be an old quote. Either way, a fourth "X-Men" movie has not been confirmed and there's nothing that says Gambit is in the Wolverine spinoff.

Reason for the post, is hearing the news on Radio shows, and then seeing it on SuperHeroHype. IS it an old quote?

I really couldn't care less if they made an X4 or not, unless they get a different director and a better written script. It would be cool to see a Wolverine movie with Gambit in it. I think Halloway is a spot on pick for Gambit, as long as he can get the accent right.

I always hated Gambit, whats the appeal of jumalayah-joe the card chukin' schmoe anyways?

If they did wedge him in there, I thought they should try to have Harry Connick Jr do it, he's allready got the accent. He's getting kind of old though.

I always thought he should have been apart of The Last Stand honestly....

Keep Gambit a small character in the movie, and bring on Omega Red!
