Answer :: Ausiello: The CSI part is right — he'll guest star in CSI:NY's third episode — but that's the first I'm hearing about him possibly starring in the small-screen Star Wars. Thanks for the scoop!

The problem with other sites reporting this Furlong in TV series rumor is the reports saying "Michael Ausiello has a record of breaking stories.". Note the questioner is the one who brought up Edward Furlong in the live-action series and is the one who claims of meeting Edward Furlong in a pancake resturant. Ausiello doesn't confirm anything here.

The questioning person's story may very well be legit but just stuff to keep in mind.

Isn't it a bit too early for them to even start considering actors for the live action TV series?

It sounds like Furlong is going beyond "pulling a Sam Jackson" by saying he's gonna be on the show instead of asking to be considered, hoping they'll consider him. I'd be doing the same thing right now too, if I was a celebrity fan of Star Wars.

so any truth to this rumour, or its all hot air?
