Anyone try to go back and watch the Original trilogy now and try to watch it imagining Vader without the mask like he was permantley damaged or scarred,would the movie have the same effect that it does on everyone now,or would the movie have been a disaster?

For me, I kinda hoped that Lucas would have created some sort of "in-between phase" of Vader's suit, etc. I mean, come on, changing the clones/stormtroopers suits between EPII, EPIII and the OT was brilliant...in my opinion.
