The title of the thread obviously is in reference to Metallica's Ride The Lightning track of the same name and had something to do with the current default theme. snowSilver has been the intermittent default theme since Thanksgiving week. By intermittent, I mean that during the weekends when there are hordes of Clone Wars lurkers here the usual modified subBlack default theme is switched back until the following Monday.

There used to be a bug in the JavaScript snow that would cause a bottom horizontal scroll bar - not anymore. The snowfall has been slowed down considerably for a more relaxing, chill effect. The forum marker Christmas Belles (seen in the images below) were replaced non-holiday specific subSilver ones. That way snowSilver can be used as the default for the winter.

Because Mother Nature and her Bastard offspring Winter can kiss my ass allready. Below zero for days, multiple feet of snow, freezing rain, and now it's 50+, foggy, and about to rain again. Which means it's going to flood my basement in time for New Years. And not only is it supposed to rain tomorrow, but it's supposed to be freezing temps again by Sunday morning. I'm not feeling the winter wonderland spirit at the moment. It took me 3+ hours to drive 40 miles to work this morning. Let's all just pretend it's summer and maybe it will just all go away.

it plays mp3, avi, mpg, vlc (youtube video!), just about any other video file you'd want without needing to convert them, has a FM radio, plays jpgs, games, ebooks, and would probably suck my dick too but I haven't figured that part out yet.

right now, I've got full rips of Iron Man, Dark Knight, Matrix Reloaded and Kill Bill on there. Need a good anime, maybe Ninja Scroll, and I'll be all set. Don't look for them in stores anytime soon, only sold online or in the mighty communist country of China. And before Christmas, it was only $80
