I have bit torrent, but I cant download individual songs with it, and it takes forever to get other stuff, so I don't use it too much... I had Kazaa lite and Bearshare, but I think those things fuck with my computer..

Ive heard WinMX, but wondered what you guys knew.. Is there any clean software to use to download shit that wont fuck with your computer?

I used to use WinMX. Its decent for music, but video is basically non existent and there's no option for software.

You can't choose to automatically not share, and you have to unshare everything right after you download it if you don't want to share.

But it has a lot more titles being shared than WinMX, I know that much.

Edit: I need to download the new Dane Cook CD... but I'm such a cheap bastard... if I could just listen to it, I'd buy it... I swear.

Well, Winmx won't fuck with your computer ( I use) but the sharing isn't as big (there usually aren't as many files)
