For Classic Rock fans, Van Halen reunited with one of their two lead singers - Sammy Hagar, after a couple of failed attempts with original lead singer David Lee Roth.

In 1998, Van Halen had a 3rd singer and put out a album but many fans consider that the 3rd singer a abortion.

Sounds like VH got MetallicA's St Anger sound in there :what:

Definitely has a Van Hagar (my term for them with Sammy) sound to it, but I definitely like it as well.

Sometime this summer, I'm not sure of the exact date.

I'm a lot more excited about the new Velvet Revolver CD.

I'm also whipped up for Velvet Revolver. My two favorite bands were Guns and STP...The song Slither kicks ass. I can't wait for the album...I may even buy it legit rather than grabbing it from suprnova.

I bet Velvet Revolver has a second album out before Chinese Democracy sees the light of day.

Yeah, slither from Velvet Revolver is great! I hope their other tracks will deliver as well. They are on Audioslave level for me.

Best rock to date.

BTW - Muse and Placebo rock my world right now! :heavymetal:
I'm quite an indi-rock whore. :weed:

I don't know, I guess Axl Rose is running out of money and could lose his mansion if he doesn't get Chinese Democracy out by the end of the year... or something like that.

Velvet Revolver's CD comes out June 8, so I'll definitely be buying that.

"Set me Free" and "Slither" from them are awesome.

From what I've been told, they'll have one of those copy-blocker thingamajiggers on the CD, though I've never had a CD with one so I don't know how effective they are.

I guess at Rock in Rio, the Foo Fighters just dedicated a song titled "Stacked Actors" to Axl Rose: it was about "washed up hasbeens."
