I use Safari. I keep a copy of IE on my Mac in case there's something I need it for, but I haven't bothered to keep any bookmarks in it. Any browser that doesn't have a pop-up blocker is a waste of my time.

Firefox. The adblock extension is extremely versatile. I especially love how easily you can block those annoying Intellitxt ads without modifying your hosts file. So many forums are starting to use that crap.

I use Internet Explorer still.

We use FireFox at school, but not at home.

I voted Firefox, but use both Firefox and Safari (which is what you should change "Mac" to in the poll).

I don't understand how anyone can use a browser that doesn't have:

1. Pop-up Blocking (and Safari is blocking pop-unders now, from what I hear).

2. Tabbed Browsing. Why you would choose to have a million fucking windows open is beyond me. Keep it all in one frame where it belongs.

Completely agreed

yes yes FireFox and Safari are much better--and safer--ways to be on the Internet.

and tabbing helps when my teacher walks around the class, peering into our monitors and notices that we only have one window open.

Yeah, I agree -- I don't see why Safari should fall into an "other" category, given that more people use it than Opera. If anything should be combined, it ought to be Netscape and Mozilla.

Definitely Firefox. It's the best browser I've used by far. I had to use IE for something the other day, and got a shitload of popups and a few spyware downloads ... and haven't gotten any of that with Firefox. I would like to see the prevention of "popunders" as well, though.

From a web developer/web standards standpoint, IE is the worst browser on the list because of all it's stupid behaviors and blatant disregard for W3C guidelines.

I really hope the Mozilla group kicks Microsoft off it's pedestal.

[/geek rant]

Looks like they haven't catered to the Firefox crowd yet, which is unfortunate. That's the only site I've ever seen that's like that though. Pretty much anywhere else I've ever gone has played stuff just fine on Firefox. But of course there's always the occasional web site coded by some moron who only checks things in IE. :whateva:

I used Opera when I first switched to Linux about 4 years ago, becuase the Mozilla 0.9x series was pretty crappy. Started using Mozilla when it hit 1.0, and didn't switch to Firefox until 0.9.
