It deals with a document for American Security plans that was drafted by people at the PNAC (Project for the New American Century) I have a copy of the document if anyone wants to read it for themselves. I'm no expert, but the article seems to be pretty accurate in it's conclusions.

This is, sadly, not news (at least not to me). The PNAC has made their agenda frighteningly clear at their website for the last several years (pre-dating 9/11) and for whatever reason, neither the media nor the Democratic party seems to have paid much attention.

Anyone who doubts that GW Bush was their hand-picked candidate or that they had more than a little hand in deciding the results of the last "election" just needs to look around their site for awhile and contemplate everything that's happened since they created their statement of purpose.

I guess that would be true if Bush was a true spiritual leader. But has not united the country under any singular ideal. Anaylists are calling this election a sympton of a much larger culture war this country is facing, and Bush is not doing his "side" any justice or particualarly helping their cause at this point.
