I am going to get it this week and want to know if anyone here has it yet. I've read up on the combat system, though never played FF11... What I really want to know is if the story so far is any good. I haven't had a good FF story to latch onto since FF7.

I have it. I'm about 20 hours in although I don't think I'm all that far into the story so far as I've been spending a lot of time doing the side quests like the mark hunts. The areas are huge too with a lot NPC's to talk to. To be honest, I haven't found the story all the interesting so far but as I said I don't think I'm that far into it despite my play time. Everyone I've talked to says it has a slow start but gets much better as it goes.

I just bought it yesterday.. the mark hunts are addicting. ive spent most of my time doing those. The only complaint I have is the camera is goofy. You have to control it at all times, certainly while in cities because they arent all wide open. Outside of the camera though, so far so good!
