:heavymetal: Good scan. I suppose if I'm gonna' nitpick it there was a slight fold in the last page of story, but not really noticeable.

I had to unblock the file, and change the file extension also, but thats no big deal. (I also changed the name to KOTOR2.cbz because it came in with%a%long%ass%file%name)
But all in all, I say kick ass job, thanks!!!

As far as the book itself goes, decent, but unfortunately I'm getting the sense of a different take on some 'chosen one' prophesy coming into play. I'm not sure any amount of good story telling or decent artwork will make up for rehashing that theme. But what the fuck do I know, I'll keep reading to find out.

I think you're reading waaay too much into that one line. They never elaborated on what "the one" was referring to. It could be referring to a Sith in the Jedi Order or something like that.

No, I'm hoping there isn't anything to read waaay too much into, theres a subtle, miniscule (probably meaningless and more of a rationalization) kind of difference :schoolyou:
I hope theres nothing to it, we shall see. I still like what I've seen so far.

This comic blows. Why did they trash the game storyline?

The issues are too short, too.

They didn't even touch the storyline bfett81, this comic takes place before the games.

Isn't the comic after the games?

I've been a little let down by these first issues. John Jackson Miller's previous Star Wars stories have been really good, but the script in this one has been kind of lame. Ching's pencils are nice, but the colors seem a little too bright and vibrant. We'll see how this goes though, a lot of issues ahead...

Nope, it is before the game. From the Dark Horse Site:
Quote:
• A new ongoing monthly series written by John Jackson Miller (Iron Man) and illustrated by Brian Ching (Star Wars Obsession), set four thousand years before the rise of the Empire and the fall of Anakin Skywalker (and eight years prior to the events in the Knights of the Old Republic video game).

That's OK, I guess. I would have rather seen the storyline from the game.

I've got to say that I really dig this comic. Maybe I'm alone?

Anyway, I already know what happened during the games, so it's nice to get a little backstory. And speaking of the games, this comic is a great way to excited about the upcoming SW Kotor 3.

Hopefully, we'll hear more about that soon.

My sincere thanks go out to the uploaders and the scanners. You are guys are great. People like Darth Psychotic have helped make me a comic lover again. (On a side note, once I moved in with my girlfriend my enourmous comic collection was banished. This is why I love digital comics.)
