Not that I give a shit but this poster looks like a 5th grader put it together in MS paint. I'm excited to see this. I think it'll be worth the cash to see Star Wars in 3D (assuming the conversion is top notch). |

That's one boring poster. I wish they had used the new old school box logo: ![]() |

![]() I hope that's a teaser and not the theatrical print. Notice how there is nothing important showcased here. Hey guys! Just sell Darth Maul. He's cool. |

Hasn't the trailer been released already? I thought something starting it's run two weeks ago had it attached, but haven't heard anything else. |

Nothing to do with Star Wars, but I don't really get how 3D is being sort of pushed as "the next format"... like it is a natural progression from VHS and DVD and Blu-Ray. It is not a format... it is a novelty. Period. A novelty. Not an "improvement" on the movie-going experience at the end of the day. When the characters are actually in my living room acting out the film, then that is something special, but I'm not even sure that would necessarily enhance the "story"... At least, that is my personal opinion. And back to Star Wars related - yeah, I can't wait to see all these films at the theatre again. In any way shape or form... And February 10 is my birthday! ![]() |

Ebert and Walter Murch said it best. At the end of the day, it's Star Wars on the big screen again. Nothing compares to that experience. It will also be the first movie my son will see in the theater and I can't wait to see the film through him. |

That's an awesome piece right there. I linked to it awhile back too. Our brains already perceive high-quality 2D as 3D anyway, so all this is is a gimmick. The only movie I've seen in Imax 3D was the last Harry Potter flick. Loved the Imax, wished I could have turned off the 3D. When the movie was over, I was literally walking around bumping into shit. I felt like my eyes were permanently crossed. ![]() |

The 3D on the revamped Star Tours ride didnt do that to my vision, and was by far the most impressive 3D I've ever seen. I have yet to see an actual film which uses the format that effectively. Still, Star Wars 3D sounds like a ton o' fun! Shitty poster or no shitty poster. Thanks for posting! |

Remember the 1st time I sneaked into screenings to see The Phantom Menace Trailer - looks like ill be doing it all over again! Wonder if cinemas have a better knowledge of what trailers are playing in front of what film these days? I remember getting crazy looks for asking! "oh no i just want to see the trailer" - think I saw Evita 3 times just cause they said it had the trailer attached and they fucking lied each time! Guess they had to boost the box office for it somehow ![]() |

So, you've contributed to the boxoffice of "Meet Joe Black" too? ![]() |

![]() yes im afraid so! other problem was... im in the UK and back then trailers werent officially "attatched" to movies over here so it was even more pot luck! meet joe black was worth it for the bit where he gets hit by a car though! ![]() |

I not only contributed, but was present at a damn near RIOT at the end of Meet Joe Black. Remember how LFL had promised that the trailer would show once at the begining and once at the end of the film? Theater I was at didn't. Man can nerds get angry...ended up showing it though. |
