In the interest of the films as one 12 hour film, Lucas wanted to preserve the hyperspace jump for IV, V and VI, something exclusive for the OT.

I think of the series as one movie. In order to keep the impact of the hyperspace jump in Episode IV, I have decided not to use it in the first three films. If you're watching them from one to six, you'll get the same thrill.

It's right before who gives a shit in Episode Who Cares and right after nitpicky sheep in Episode superfriend.

is that the one where Jar Jar steals 5 credits from padmes purse and buys some bubble gum, but accidently spits it on the floor and it gets stuck on sebulbas shoe?

This is almost getting reservation.. maybe not... i dont "get" reservation... anyways... as arbitrary as this conversation is, I think one reason you dont see the hyperspace streaks is that there arent nearly as many shots from inside the ship looking out in the PT as there are in the OT.

I could be wrong here, but the PT has a feel of always trying to show as much as possible (CG) so that it would show an outside shot of the ship as well as all the shit its flying past.

But no matter... I just love it when Metric posts cause his avatar makes me laugh
