I think I remember that there was about 50% of ILM staff working on TPM (some were off doing The Mummy), and that the figure increased for AOTC.

Does anyone know how much of ILM is on ROTS? Was there a rumour saying some of the Matrix/LOTR peeps were also working on shots for ILM? Just wanna idea of how much of a visual spectacle GL wants ROTS to be.

Besides, they are competitors, I don't see them working together so soon. Or is there something else?

ILM helped Weta with LOTR.

The only help they give to Weta was for the preproduction work like the storyboards and previsualisation... I don't even think it was ILM

Rob Coleman personally helped Jackson solve alot of problems the team was having in bringing Gollum to life.

it's true...while episode 2 was under production, the casts visited each others sets also
